jackal

I think I will just remove your Red Sun and Thieve's Highway DVDs when your not looking. I would have also included your R2 Cross of Iron .. but, R1 is coming with a correct transfer, so I'll give you a break.

GeoffreyL 02-18-06 09:16 AM

Jackal, I will take your Most Dangerous Game. Visitor Q , I still need your True Romance. I have been meaning to pick that up for a while now.

NatrlBornThrllr 02-18-06 09:24 AM

Geoffrey, I'll take the "How to Get Ahead in Advertising" Criterion. I loved Withnail & I and haven't gotten a chance to pick up this OOP Criterion title.

Quite a few missing since I haven't updated in a while, but here's the link to mine: http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.ht...atrlbornthrllr

how is it?

gryffinmaster 02-18-06 10:19 AM

scott,

I'm still waiting for the right deal to pop up for the Brazil Criterion Collection. What an awesome set.

Not bad, but not great. It has two of my favorite up-and-coming actors in it, so I had to blind-buy it when I saw it for cheap in a Buy2Get1 previously viewed sale at Hollywood Video. It was hit or miss with most audiences, but I don't see why...it was pretty straight forward (it's not like a Lynch title or something, where I could easily see there being a sharp division among audiences). If you can find it for a good price, I'd recommend it to ya.

gryffinmaster, from your collection I'd take The City of Lost Children. Jeunet is fast growing on me, and that's one that I haven't checked out yet.

There's my link again, for whoever's next. I really should put it in my signature.

I would say your Limited Edition of Supergirl! That one got expensive fast.

onebyone 02-18-06 05:03 PM

I'll take your "South Park - The Complete 1st Season." I have always meant to watch that show, so this is my chance.

historyavenger 02-18-06 05:36 PM

I'll take the entire series of Coupling! :D

Dazed 02-18-06 05:37 PM

Ill take your Titanic

SinSix 02-18-06 05:44 PM

From Dazed - I would not mind seeing "A Personal Journey With Martin Scorsese Through American Movies"

TomOpus 02-18-06 06:00 PM

SinSix - I'll be more than happy to take The Complete Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Brent L 02-18-06 07:20 PM

Saw it at a GameStop for $7.99, wasn't sure but figured it was OOP, so I snatched it up. Sure enough...

For Brent, give me your "A Night to Remember" Criterion. That film's always intrigued me, I've just never gotten around to it.

JP,

I'd have to go for the Unforgiven Special Edition.

By the way, if you liked Amelie, you'll enjoy the City of Lost Children. It's got the same visually stunning style, but has a very unusual story. Plus, you can't go wrong with a movie starring Ron Perlman where even HE doesn't have a clue what is going on. Breathtaking, none the less. ;)

too bad it will be valueless once the 14 disc Super set comes out with "Supergirl" :(

grem458 02-18-06 11:08 PM

gryffinmaster: can I have your Lion King - Platinum Edition? No, really...can I? -biggrin-

Brent L 02-18-06 11:25 PM

scott1598, I'd take your copy of The Killer (Criterion Collection) in a second. :)

Living Dead 02-19-06 04:10 AM

BrentLumkin, I am hiding in your closet at this very moment and plan to steal your Hellraiser Lament Configuration box set the moment you leave.

OldBoy 02-19-06 06:17 AM

LD,
i'll take, "Metropolis" & "Fantastic Films of Ray Harryhausen"
plus, i just love that you have "The Beast Within" !!

John Galt 02-19-06 08:53 AM

Scott,
I'll take your Alien Quadrilogy

gryffinmaster 02-19-06 09:57 AM

John,
You know, I've never had a copy of this film before, so I'd probably go for The Rock CC OR I'd go with the Jurassic Park with DTS. ;)

Is it confirmed that Supergirl will be included with the Superman set? Hope not. Bought mine for $15 from Amazon 2 years ago. Hadn't realized how much it had increased in value, lol. Perhaps it's time I sell off mine...
