Not looking at my collection, the only DVD/set coming to mind is Firefly. It got a wonderful treatment on DVD for a show that didn't even last a full season on TV.

What else...? Deep Space Nine maybe.. Or Prom Night 4, since it's the most.. revealing Nicole deBoer will probably ever get.

1. Haute Tension (French 2-Disc/Uncut)
Bought it while I was in France. Loved the movie, and even though this particular DVD release did not have english subs, the presentation was great, transfer, extras and all. Led me to eventually buy the UK SE later on

2. Irreversible
As hard as this movie is to watch, it is one of my favorite movies, and I like the DVD. Menus are weird, which I like, and the presentation is nice.

3. Akira Kurosawa- Four Samurai Classics (Criterion)
I love Kurosawa's work, period. I love this set, and had been wanting it for a really long time, but put it off for so long because of the price. Was extremely happy the day I actually bought it.

The Negotiator - Just plain fun cat & mouse game. My first DVD purchase from Amazon, too.
Loaded Weapon 1 - Good cast, funny script and rewatchable many times. Love this one!!!
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - Watched it in all dubbed languages available, watched all the supplements and commentaries. This is a clear keeper.

These are in no way my favorite films, just DVD's I love.

ALIEN QUADRILOGY - I love all 4 of these movies, and with each film having both cuts and tons of extras, I am reminded of just what DVD's were made for.

ALMOST FAMOUS BOOTLEG CUT - I was a fan of the original but completely fell in love with this director's cut.

LOTR EXTENDED EDITIONS - This is the pinnacle of DVD sets. Awesome!!

Honorable Mention

Naked Lunch - Criterion
Videodrome - Criterion
Pearl Harbor Directors Cut 4 disc set
Evil Dead - Book of the Dead
Sin City - Recut
The Rock - Criterion
Cannibal Holocaust - Limited Edition
Halloween OOP 2 disc set

i'm gonna have to put the new "Dazed and Confused" (Criterion) in my ring as the packaging and menus (at least on the first disc) alone are worth top honors.

The Shawshank Redemption - Deluxe Limited Edition Great movie. Great DVD treatment.

Clerks X Kevin Smith knows how to load a disc and give his fans what they want.

Dazed and Confused - Criterion I haven't actually put it in yet, but it's one of my favorite movies. So I can't imagine not being pleased with the disc.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit is up there, too. And Stand By Me would be, as well, if there were more extras.
