Sweet! That'll make a nice early birthday present for me. :D

Really enjoyed this movie in the theatres!!

Have to see this again to pick up all the in-jokes...

My wife watched it with me and didn't get a lot of the jokes (example is 'bright eyes' playing on the radio when Grommit is in the van)

I liked this a lot, I've always been a fan of Claymation.....Will Vinton was a god. :)

I thought this was a Dreamworks film - how did Universal get it?

Universal is the DVD distributor for Dreamworks animated films, like Shrek and this one. I don't know if that is going to change with the recent acquisition of Dreamworks by Paramount.

I really enjoyed this movie in theaters, and will definitely be picking up this DVD (and I still need to pick up the collection of 3 W&G shorts.)

This was adorable and I'll probably be rooting for it for Best Animated Film at the Oscars (haven't seen Corpse Bride yet though). I'll third the "nice birthday present" thing. =)

that sucks that Universal didn't include a DTS track since the 'Chicken Run' DVD has a great DTS-ES matrix soundtrack on it.

Yes, I was wondering about that as well.

This movie screams for DTS-ES...

Explain that one please? I don't get it.

Great film, this is a must buy.

Yep, I'll be picking this one up. I hope there are a couple of commentary tracks, one for the jokes and background, one for the technical aspects.

It also reminds me I need to get my movie poster framed.

My favorite joke of the film:) "Bright Eyes" was a song sung by Art Garfunkel in the movie "Watership Down" which featured animated talking rabbits as the main characters (my favorite book and one of my favorite films).

Woah. Obscure reference. I saw Watership Down a long time ago, wouldn't remember the song and make that connection in a million years.

Thanks, for info.

Sounds like the R2UK will be the one to go for. Maybe it will come with DTS. That would be cool. If not, then it must have better extras.
