I went ahead and ordered the monkey head from amazon and paid the $3.99 for next day delivery. It shipped today so I should have it tom. I don't have any of the films and have never seen them, except for the Burton remake.

I did finally get a shipping notice and have delivery scheduled for tomorrow from Amazon (free two-day with Prime trial).

Congrats on the new monkey-head Freshticles. I've been showing everyone I know the Amazon picture, but I'm sure it just doesn't do it justice. I've even cleaned off some display shelf space, I'll have to more the Wicker Man so it overlaps Scarface a bit, but it should all fit...

fresticles,The monkey head looks sweet out of the box. The giant pez clown freaks me out though.

My wife's collection of pez. Sorry, barely realized it was there. The kitchen table was the closest place with adequate lighting and she insists on keeping them on there in a giant bowl as her attempt at nerd-dom.

man i am so tempted to pick up the ape head, i can get a good deal by trading a few movies in at my work to off set the cost, but i KNOW that my wife would be pissed to have an Ape head on top of the bookshelfs.

I selected free shipping at first, but the estimated arrival for my order wasn't until like April 4th so i upgraded to 2-day because i didn't feel like waiting that long. Regardless, I have no plans to order anything else from Amazon because had i ordered from DDD i would have had my set a long time ago.

Here's a short video clip that includes a review of 2 disc king-kong (which made me crack up) and a quick review of the ape-head set, including some good shots of the ape itself. Love that poofy hair! I got mine yesterday, and yes, the hair is really that poofy.
