It received very bad reviews from most editorial critics. Some movies just doesn't need a sequel.

Experience has taught me...don't buy the first release. Or in the case of this franchise, the second or even the third....but the quadruple dip, then you're getting somewhere.

I haven't watched it, but I think this is one that is as bad as they say. The trailer didn't make the movie look fun at all.

Good popcorn flick; it's not as good as the first movie but I enjoyed it nonetheless and will be picking this one up.

I thought it was a blast--with the $7.50 off coupon, this purchase is no-brainer for me.

I missed it in the theater, but i will likely blind buy it since i liked the first one a lot.
I wonder if it will get the Superbit treatment like the first one did?

Since the HD-DVD, BluRay format is just around the corner, exclusive Superbit releases are gradually becoming obsolete, and a very low priority in the DVD market, due to deficient volume of sales.

This movie was horrible to the say the least... But it is one of those movies that you can laugh yourself silly while watching, which might make it worth a group rental.

Thanks for the mini-reviews. I recently blind bought Ocean's Twelve and the Ring Two becuase the originals are so great, but both failed to deliver. This one might be worth a rental, or wait for the double dip and get the first release uber cheap.

the sequel to mask of zorro was freaking horrible.. not even worth a blind buy if you ask me. not even worth a rental. it lacked the charm of the first movie.. Its the worse sequel that I had seen since MIB 2.

they waited too long to make the sequel which was the same problem with MIB 2.

I couldn't disagree more--I thought it was a tremendous spectacle, full of laughs, spectacular action and plenty of the first film's charm. For those of you curious about the title, be aware that many of us who loved the first film found every bit as much joy in this sequel.

Oh, and I liked MiB II, as well--twice as funny as the first.

The first Zorro was an absolutely TERRIFIC film! One of the best times I've had since Raiders of the Lost Ark...

Anyhoo, here you go:

I didn't think it was that bad but I do agree that it's not as good as the first one.

the writing was so sloppy.. everyone knew who he really was (zorro).. the relationship with the wife was terrible.. only the kid was half decent.. I was not a fan of spidey 2 that much.. that movie was so much better.

I saw this in the theater, the wife and I finally got a kids-free night, and we wanted to go out to dinner and the movies. Well, we wanted to see Serenity, but it had already left the theaters, but I digress. The Legend of Zorro is buy no means a great movie, actually it is questionable as to whether it is even a good movie. It is definitely not as much fun as the original.

That said, it is by no means as awful as MiB II, IMO. Funny story about seeing that film in the theater, my wife was pregnant with our first child and near her due date. We had some friends in town with us, and I remember us turning to my wife, nearly in unison, to ask if she could'nt just go in labor so we could get the hell outta there.
