It is 4 discs from Wal-Mart (the 4th has 6 bonus matches) and it is also 4 discs from WWE Shopzone (the 4th has episodes of Hogan Knows Best). Everywhere else, it only has 3 discs.

The Valeyard 10-19-06 04:56 PM

Best Buy also has the 4 Disc Hogan Knows Best edition.

Class316 10-19-06 06:40 PM

Damn. So only WM has the 4 discs with bonus matches :/

Guess that's one thing I can't get from DDD

dx23 10-19-06 09:25 PM

I bought mine at Wal-Mart for $19.99, which is a reasonable price for a 4 disc limited edition set.

The Valeyard 10-19-06 09:30 PM

I price-matched with the Circuit City ad to get mine for $17.99 at Wal-Mart.

Third disc which I got in a orginial three DVD limited edition set has "The Mania Of Wrestlemania" - an excellent behind the scenes look of Wrestlemania 19 from Seattle. This was hosted by Jesse Ventura and orginially aired on UPN. (The DVD includes three deleted/extra scenes - Triple H vs Booker T, Hulk Hogan vs Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura doing some voice-over work.) Wrestlemania's Ten Greatest Matches Ever. This was hosted by Ric Flair and orginially aired on Spike TV. A Wrestlemania Gallery - results, photos and facts from Wrestlemania to Wrestlemania 19. And to finish off the DVD - some Wrestlemania trivia.

Didn't get a chance to go to my local Wal-mart today-going to try on Friday, hopefully they will have the Hulk Hogan DVD set there - if they do, I'm going going to pricematch with the Circuit City ad like "The Valeyard" did.

How do you go about taking advantage of the price match at Wal-Mart? Do you take a newspaper ad in and show it to them?

Yes.

eatntae 10-19-06 10:30 PM

Wow, I guess I'm fortunate. I got mine at Walmart for a measly $14.96 (or something close to that).

Ass. :) :chainsaw:

Scarface83 10-20-06 10:06 PM

Anyone see the figures?

metalfan 10-21-06 01:03 AM

I saw them at Walmart yesterday. They are not packaged with the dvd, they are just a Walmart exclusive. They were in the toy section.

asmoboba 10-21-06 02:44 AM

I checked out a Walmart(in Canada) and they had the Hulk Hogan set...but it looked exactly the same as the 3-disc set I saw at another store...there was no sign of the 4th disc like on a sticker or anything...and the packaging was identical and on the box it said in the description "this 3-desc set etc"

So are Walmarts in Canada not including the 4th disc, or does the package still look exactly the same but there's an extra disc in there?

I saw the figures today and they were priced $13.39 each. They had a Hogan Blue Trunks Figure and a 2005 Hulkster figure. Both of them are marked as limited editions.

The one I bought had a sticker on the front that said it had a 4th disc Wal-Mart exclusive or something to that effect.

I guess I won't be landing it, then. My Wal-Mart's toy section usually looks like a hurricane went through it and left only a handful of the most undesirable WWE figures behind.

Actually, they were not placed in the toy section. I saw the on a display stand that had the Hulk Hogan DVD and the 2 action figures.

Al Padrino 10-22-06 01:07 AM

Mine didn't even have the DVD set, so...

king slug 10-27-06 07:51 PM

http://www.wwe.com/shop/dvd/upcomingdvds

All the release dates for next year. Highlights:

Royal Rumble: The Complete Anthology 3/13/07
Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen 4/10/07
Stond Cold Steve Austin's Life & Legacy 11/20/07 (typo via wwe.com)

Can't wait for the Rumble Anthology!

Also looks like ECW will put on 2 PPV's per year:

ECW One Night Stand 2007 7/10/07
ECW December to Dismember 01/01/08

The dates are for the release dates for the dvd's.

Phineas444 10-27-06 08:03 PM

I sure hope they break up the Rumble's like they did with WM. Also, lots of rehashes on that list with Rey and Cena even though they have done a lot since their last releases.

The Valeyard 10-27-06 08:17 PM

Hey now, this sounds interesting:

The Triumph & Tragedy of WCCW 9/18/07

Same here. The wccw dvd & families dvd looks interesting as well.

Speaking of the wccw dvd. I wonder how many fans will think it's a typo and it's about turner's wcw and not von erich's wccw, or maybe it is.

king slug 10-27-06 08:58 PM

I don't even remember WCCW, so sadly, I have no intrest in that DVD. :( I also may have to remove the Stone Cold DVD from the highlights. After reading through it again, the Four Horseman clearly states multi disc. I thought the Stone Cold DVD would also be a multi disc, but it just looks like interviews and match highlights (perhaps a single disc?)

I really hope there's a Rock anthology in the works. As much as I loved the early 90's of the WWF, there was no one more entertaining than The Rock.

MrChaos 10-27-06 09:56 PM

Damn.. Talk about some SOLID releases next year. I'll definitely get:

The Rumble Anthology
Four Horsemen
Steve Austin Life and Legacy

shacmasta 10-28-06 09:16 AM

Looks like they are re-releasing the mania anthology...

Mania set w/L.E. Canvas from wm 22

The only difference is wm22 being added. The only way I'm double dipping is if they bring out that leather bound limited edition one.
