collven - the best images of the box are on page 2 of this post. Doesn't anybody ever read an entire post anymore?
And, by the way, mine has arrived at my friends house in the USA, now I have to wait for him to send it on to me here in Japan, so you people who are complaining about the time lag - I can't hear you!!!! Offer mailed November 25, 2005, may receive the box here in Japan about mid-March. I'm not complaining - just telling you to be thankful you ONLY have to wait 8 - 12 weeks.

I got mine yesterday in the mail - finally!
I didn't receive a notice - I did however call last week to find out the status (as mentioned in my post on 2/21)

I got mine yesterday. I mailed the offer early - mid December and they cashed the check early in January. I didn't get a notice about the delay but the box is here in great shape.

Mine arrived today via UPS (mailed on 12/3). It really is a nice box, but I was hoping there would be a little spare room for the series finale disc. Since it won't fit in the box, I'm thinking of dumping it. It looks like most everything on it is available somewhere else in the series, but I can't find The Rembrandts video anywhere. Was this only on the series finale disc?

I also received mine today via UPS. Check cashed on 3/1 and received on 3/7, that's pretty quick! You could put the Friends finale in there if it were in one of those thinner dvd cases. Looks sweet tho...

I am not double dipping, but here are the specs:
As well as all 236 episodes of the hit show, the collection will include a 60-page commemorative book with Original Pilot Pitch and behind-the-scenes photos with cast and crew. The rest of the material, including all the commentaries, featurettes, and other bonus material, will be the same as on previous releases. Thanks to TVShowsOnDVD.com for the specs.

Why? They're releasing the same exact thing in different packaging. It's good for the people that didn't get in on the other one, but the majority of Friends fans own all ten seasons. And it doesn't look like this box can house the previously released seasons, which sucks, because the majority of the people who like Friends definitely bought them when they were $16.99 at Best Buy.
This was the something special Warner Bros. talked about in their chat? What a disappointment....

I figured it would be something snazzier than that... the only advantage that it seems to have is that it takes up less space than the 10 boxes.
Personally, I think it's a mistake to do this. First, a double-dip on a full 10-season set? Yikes. That has to be one of the worst ones on record.
Plus, the dip is happening only 1 year after the first set. Who is this being sold to? Most people who would be willing to shell out big $$$ for this have already either gotten all 10 individually, or bought the set last year. I can't imagine that there's much demand for this, but maybe I'm wrong...
