Studios releasing Bare Bones DVD after SE
I just noticed it's harder to find Silence of the Lambs SE and Jeepers Creepers SE anywhere, but now they have just released the bare bones editions. WHY? They were released first as SE's but now the studios are going backwards and taking away the special features so to speak.
I can imagine releasing a bare bones like Kill Bill when the demand is high, then later on releasing an Utlimate or SE but why do it backwards? Whats the point of having a DVD if there are absolutely no special features? These beeotches... |
To reduce price I guess, so more people would buy the DVD. For me it was fine as long as they still put the SE on print (which is rarely done)

A new release gets it back on the shelves, so whatever they did before - do the opposite.

I would rather see this than a six month after double dip or even worse this busllshit 2 versions on release day stuff.
By the time the bare=bones re-release hits, there has been ample time to get the "SE" at a bargain price. |
It can get heart breaking, like having the great MASH 2 disc for years, then when going to find a replacment copy, only finding the single disc version, arghh!

Exactly. What do they think? That people actually want to watch the movie? Those idiots. |
