So I finally start to watch Simpsons Season 5 and...
I find that I have two "disk 2s" I bought the set about 6 months ago and I have not had time to watch them yet and now this. Is there anyway I can send a disk back and get disk #4? or do I have to suck it up and purchase another set?
Looks like I purchased it June 14th from Deep Discount DVD.
Any suggestions?

I'd call Fox if I were you. Their phone number is on the Stores board, under the sticky thread Customer Service Phone numbers. I never had to deal with them on this kind of issue, but they will have a live person there to answer your question.

Perfect example why it's always good to check out the discs when you buy. I also check for scratches and make sure each disc loads okay. Even though I've never had a problem, I'd rather deal with the store directly.
I know people that have a lot of unopened sets. Even when I say "How do you even KNOW there are discs in there?" they just shrug.

I would start by contacting Fox. If that fails, bring it to a WalMart and ask for an exchange. I know some will say it is not where you bought it, but there are few other alternatives besides getting stuck buying a second set.

I had a problem with Season 5 as well (scratches) and contacted Fox - they wanted me to mail back at my expense the entire set and then they'd replace - it was easier to exchange at Wal-Mart.

I had a similar problem with a Spongebob Season set. I returned it to Wal-Mart and got a replacement.

Thanks for all the input, I'll put my big order in at DDD and then contact their service department; and if that does not work I have lots of other options.
However from here on out the first thing i will do is check my DVD's as soon as I get them.
Thanks.
