what stores are carrying the 2 Disc? I went to Target and Circuit City and they only had the 1 Disc edition of this movie.

I just got done watching this. I have to say it definitely looked like it was cropped. Everything looked extremely tight, and there were plenty of times where people looked misframed.

They always have more titles than any other B&M.

I wanted to buy this DVD yesterday, but I'm apparently going to have to wait for a OAR release in another region, because I'm not spending a dime on what appears to be a butchered atrocity.

I loved this movie so bought it anyway, and yes, it is very obviously cropped, and I think it looks pretty bad compared to the way it looked in theaters. I can't fathom why they did this, especially for such a marginal release, in terms of the film's B.O. success.

There's already a thread at their website's forum about this issue. I made a post there about this:
http://forums.lgf.com/showthread.php?t=1732
I saw this film in theaters and was eagerly awaiting the DVD release of the film for purchase. Also, I've wanted friends who missed the theatrical release to see it as well. The 2-disc set looked like a good buy, as it's loaded with extras and features a high-quality DTS track.
Sadly though, with the altered aspect ratio, I will not be purchasing it, and will be hesitent to recommend it to friends. The film I saw and enjoyed was 2.35:1, and that's the film I want on DVD.
Hopefully Lions Gate will see these complaints and re-issue the DVD, or at least offer an explanation for the altered aspect ratio. Otherwise, if this film is released elsewhere in the world in it's original aspect ratio, I'll likely buy it from there.

Go to www.hometheaterforum.com, the DVD/HT Software forum, look for the Lord of War thread, near the bottom of page one. It's cropped.
