Streets of Fire:any chance of a SE similar to The Warriors?

I was in a record store this past weekend and came acroos the soundtrack on vinyl. I didn't buy it, but upon looking at the back noticed a little note by director Walter Hill explaining his intentions in making the movie and how influential older movies and comic book styles were to its concept. This reminded me a lot of his explanations on the DVD of The Warriors, which while I enjoy the original version more, also think this version is rather innovative and interesting.
I was wondering if this might get a treatment similar to The Warriors on DVD, or at least a re-release with some music videos that were made for MTV and a decent re-mastering of the audio track?

I think the audio on the current disc is quite good. What I'd really like to see remastered is the video -- an anamorphic version would be nice.

Great movie I've owned the current release for some time know. However Streets of Fire is not the best Walter Hill movie screaming, begging even for a special edition. That honor belongs to Extreme Prejudice, a great movie with a shitty disc.
