Universal has officially announced The Constant Gardener which stars Ralph Fiennes, Rachel Weisz, Danny Huston, Bill Nighy and Pete Postlethwaite. This Fernando Meirelles directed film will be available to own from the 10th January, and should set you back around $29.98. The film itself will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with English and French Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks. We have no details on extra material yet I'm afraid, but we'll bring you further details shortly. Stay tuned.

I'm definitely picking this one up. Mereilles's often overly shaky camerawork excused, this is one of the few worthwhile movies I've seen in theatres in the last while.

It's a very good film, but I dont think it has much replay value.
However, I've seen City of God 5 times so far.

When you go buy this title, be careful to get the proper aspect ratio version. The widescreen/fullscreen labeling is done in very small, inconspicous lettering on one corner of the cover .
