Star Wars DVDs: how many times might we/you be dipping?

I was one of the idiots that double (or was it quadruple?) dipped for the Star Wars VHS that came out right before episode II---->I heard rumors that it would include the deleted scenes.
I'll doubledip if the original trilogy is released or possibly if new 2 disc versions come out with new special features (especially some vintage stuff). I will never doubledip for the prequel trilogy unless it comes in an uber-monster gift set.

If Georgieboy were to relent, and release the original trilogy in it's original form (restored but not revised) I'd probably rebuy. Other than that, I'm done.

Removing edge enhancement isn't going to get me to doubledip, especially on a disc I got for free.

I'll buy whatever they put out. I'm a slave to the Star Wars franchise...except for the crummy walmart exclusive disc that came out today...f that thing.

wasn't there talk of Lucas re-releasing the DVDs of 4-6 again in a boxset, but with new artwork?

Why the heck not? I'm not the one to usually double dip, but under the right circumstances, sure.
I would double dip if they released the original versions on DVD (though this is not likely).
I would double dip if they release the original trilogy with corrected transfers fixing the lightsaber gaffes, the swapped left and right channels, etc.
I would double dip if they went and gave each of the original films its own bonus disc of extras.
I would double dip if they re-released The Phantom Menace with a new transfer without all the edge enhancement.
I would double dip for new extras such as commentaries, deleted scenes, documentaries, etc.

Haven't bought any yet, so my first and only will be the box set of all of the films. Actually (preparing for crucifixion), I've only ever seen "Revenge of the Sith".

It would take a lot for me to double dip on these. I now have all 6 on DVD and I still have the original trilogy on VHS. I don't really care if the original versions are ever released on DVD. I consider the Star Wars matter closed until Episode 7 starts production.

On a similar note, wouldn't it be a pisser if they stealth fixed the issues with the '04 OT in this new release coming out? Like the reversed surround score on ANH, the sabers in ROTJ and ESB, etc.

I wish to amend my previous statement.
The ONLY way I'd buy any more Star Wars on DVD is if the original, unaltered trilogy comes out on DVD. I do have it on VHS, but it's full screen - I didn't know better back then.
Otherwise, no amount of commentaries or extras is going to get me to spend more money on movies I already have.
