Maybe you're getting Warner Bros. confused with Fox.

Well, good for you. You'll show them no one's puttin' one over on you.

You just keep on waiting there buddy, let us know how that goes.

Although you might want to bring a book or some crackers or something.

While I don't advocate waiting for these things (if done right you can break even on the first release) this will definitely be one of WB's launch titles for HD or BR.

Doesn't the SE package look enticing enough? Man, I can't wait until Amazon delivers this baby to my door --- been licking my chops all day!

I feel your pain man. I hate it when the Super Duper editions get released months later with Extended Version of the film, Female co-star nude pics, Director's Prom Night Pics, and other shit. But to be honest "Batman Begins" is one of the few flicks I'd gladly double dip on especially if they addeda DTS track.

BTW, I bought the Deluxe edition.

I just hope there's an easter egg on the current disc to play the film out of chronological order.

OP, your God sucks.

I'm still hoping the Selina Kyle/Katie Holmes nude scenes will make it back into the Director's Cut.

there is an interview with Nolan on IGN in which he basically says this release has everything he wanted on it, and doesn't see himself re-visiting it anytime soon.

It'll be released around the same time as the Kill Bill director's cuts.

Well, Warners isn't known for double dipping. Usually, it's just SEs of titles they released early in the format and need upgrades. If they do release a standard edition, they release a Special Edition the same day like they did here.

Even if they double-dip, you have 2 and 1/2 years to enjoy this version.

OMG, really? I heard that's going to be, like, soon right?

Christopher Nolan is EXTREMELY happy with his cut of Batman Begins. It is, in essence, the Director's cut.

However, I would be over-shocked if they re-release the Batman movies in a "Director's Cut" type fashion in the future. But I don't think it'll be worth the double dip, since the new films have all of the Deleted Scenes and such. Rumors had it that a Batman Forever Director's Cut was floating around ... so we'll see. I'm extremely happy with the new set, though.

The one coming out looks great, sounds great, is the original theatrical rendition of the movie with tons of extras. Yeah, I can see waiting however long it takes to get some new edition and not enjoy it for the coming year or so.
