The funny thing (or sad?) to me is that I can imagine the OP coming here, seeing that this thread has 50+ replies, and getting his hopes up about a goldmine of information and help.

So if having a legal license to operate a business is referred by you as being a "loser" then i'll rather be a loser to honor, and follow procedures of the law. Everybody is NOT dishonest because crime doesn't pay.

Wow. I didn't know so many people had Australian Business Law degrees. This should be the DVD Talk OZ Forum.

I've seen this happen twice in the last week Maybe DVD Talk should restructure the forums so that there would be two main forums: 1) Serious Talk and 2) Not-So-Serious Talk

The idea is that independent rentailers purchase their dvds through this site, which orders all of the DVDs at once from the distributor, allowing for a lower price as they are then buying in bulk. So, the more people who place orders for a DVD, the lower the price becomes. Not sure how well it has been working out.

I opened my video store with inventory close to a blockbuster and made sure to have a drop box outside.
Within weeks I had a pretty sizeable inventory from people to lazy to return their blockbuster rented movies back to them and instead dropped them off for me.
I just wanted to say, thanks guys and I hope you enjoy your late fees cause I'm keeping your donations!!!

HELP!!!! I'm opening up an Adult Video Shop next week! I already payed for a year's rent and I also just got a great deal for a case of mops and buckets from Home Depot. But i'm confused with the levels of adultness - Besides the X-rated videos, should I include R-rated movies? Because when someone turns 17, they become an adult, they can see an R-Rated movie. Therefore, doesn't that make an R-rated film an adult Film? I know that a lot of adults watch Disney films as well. So since adults watch Disney films, does that mean I have to put Disney videos on the shelves of my Adult Video Shop???? Please help, i'm sort of confused....And can some X-Rated movies be only for 21 year olds, but not for 17 year olds?
