Just a head's up:

The Sci-Fi Channel is premiering the two new "Return of the Living Dead" movies tonight back-to-back. ROTLD: Necropolis is on (now) from 7 - 9pm Eastern and ROTLD: Rave to the Grave 9 - 11pm Eastern. Then they'll play them both again at 1am.

what exactly constitutes a "horror" movie?
Well, if I say it is...then it is. It's good to be a horror expert.

I'll finish up todays line-up then will finally update my viddey list tonight. Thought it better just to update once a week. Had another marathon with buddies a few days ago. Passed 80 during that gutbusting binge.

A local weekly newspaper wants to do a write-up on why I'm watching so many.....I'll be sure to mention dvdtalk. It will be the second write-up they have done relating to my library and the third time I'll have been in the paper, the first of course being the NY Times feature almost 2 years ago!

Well, they do have their moments and weren't completely terrible IMHO, but they aren't exactly what you'd call good either. I'm not even sure if they kept all the gore intact since it was on the Sci-Fi Channel...and they obviously blurred out the nudity that was in part 5 so keep that in mind. Anyway, I'm pretty much in agreement with the thoughts from this movie talk thread:

http://dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=437110

If you can get over the fact that the characters are dumb as doorknobs and that both films don't really follow the rules of the previous ones...I'd say they're both worth a rental but that's about it.

So why is "Army of Darkness" called "Bruce Campbell Vs. Army of Darkness" and not use his character, Ash?

For a month? Is that possible? That's about 10 hours of watching a day!

Are people really WATCHING these movies? Or do they just have them on while doing other stuff?

Shouldn't this thread be in Movie Talk?

I think it was Sam Raimi's idea of a joke.

Shouldn't your post be considered a threadcrap if you are not listing films you are watching? This thread including the what are you watching portion has always been in dvdtalk. This is a combined thread...therefore it would stay.

Are people really WATCHING these movies? Or do they just have them on while doing other stuff?
Speaking for myself, being a long time member and lying would kind of be a waste of energy. I'm not that hardup for on-line buddies and approval. I can see how you would think so though.
I'm not saying that someone may not try to pad their total just to win some mythical trophy.

I myself already have explained my situation and how I'm able to viddey so many for this month....but won't bother to repeat. It's all here in this thread.

I'm still building my recent list and will add when I have time. Too busy watching horror as I've reached 100+.

I think you should have to post your list as you go along. Makes it more fun to see what others are watching, just my 2c
