Might I suggest typing "Superman Ultimate DVD" into www.google.com and www.amazon.com might be more effective than asking here every day?

I don't mean that to sound snotty, but chances are the second someone discovers it on a site, it will be posted here. You could be the one to find it.

You know whenever someone says they "don't mean to be", you know they always are and you are. I merely posted twice, the 2nd so it doesn't get buried. So "no offense", but calm down.

Looks like $99.99 on Circuit City's web site and $79.99 on Best Buy's web site...

Hey Thanks Scoot for the heads-up. Just placed my order. I was initally just going to get Superman-The Movie and Superman II Donner Cut. Although I probably would have picked up Superman Returns at a later date for the kid. At this price though, I'd be a fool not to get the set.

Back in summer 1981 RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK beat out SUPERMAN 2 at the box-office.
I wonder had this Donner cut been released instead if the SUPERMAN 2 would have won instead.

Over Spielberg and Lucas coming together for the first time as one super-entity? Not a chance in hell.

I remember SUPERMAN 2 got good reviews, but it was missing that epic movie buzz that the 1st one had. And I believe it lost that when they didn't include Marlon Brando in SUPERMAN 2. Marlon Brando & Gene Hackman is just as much sell as Spielberg & Lucas.

For Canadians, Amazon.ca has the Ultimate collection listed for $87.43. Future Shop and Best Buy Canada have it listed for $89.99.

Amazon.com always protects and pads its items.

Weird, I pulled it up yesterday, but didn't have a chance to read it and I can't seem to find it today either. Any help?

True, nothing new. But I'd definitely rather have the 3-Disc set with that artwork rather than the very shoddy black Donner cut cover next to the Supes II theatrical DVD. I found it interesting since they didn't package them both in R1.

At any rate, I was considering just purchasing Supes I, II, and Returns, but that's definitely dissapeared because of the relatively low price tag and gorgeous pack shots for the set.

It looks like it was pulled. Too bad. It really praised the DVD...so much so, that I can't help but think that it may be overhyped. Then again, we'll see in a few weeks...
