Legends of the Fall - Deluxe Edition - November 29th
Columbia Tristar Home Entertainment has kindly sent over menu shots from a new deluxe edition of Legends of the Fall which stars Brad Pitt, Aidan Quinn, Henry Thomas, Julia Ormond, Tanto Cardinal and Anthony Hopkins. This single-disc special edition will be available to own from the 29th November this year, and should retail at around $19.94. I'm afraid the full specs have yet to be released, although the menu shots below do confirm the addition of audio commentaries, deleted scenes, a production design featurette, another 'original' featurette, filmographies, isolated score highlights and some film previews.

The Special Edition had all of these features. If this release does not have a new transfer or the Superbit transfer then what is the point?

Might simply be a new promotion and price level, rather than anything new as far as the DVD itself.

Yeah, definitly a tie in with Mr. and Mrs. Smith, easily.
I haven't picked up Legends Of The Fall on dvd or A River Runs Through It Yet on dvd, so I will without a doubt hold off until these get released.
I would like to say that these releases are nice, but not needed at all. If only the studios would focus on marketing good films that have yet to be released on dvd, would make it all a whole lot more interesting.
Instead of seeing movies that have been released on dvd more than twice pop up again. Crazy if you ask me.

yeah the "lastest" version has commentaries, deleted scenes and has a pretty good transfer. I love this movie to death but I doubt very much I will upgrade...
As someone else said, what's the point???
