A River Runs Through It - Deluxe Edition - November 29th

A River Runs Through It - Deluxe Edition - November 29th
Columbia Tristar Home Entertainment has today revealed early details on a deluxe edition of the Robert Redford directed A River Runs Through It which stars Brad Pitt, Craig Sheffer, Tom Skerritt and Joseph Gordon-Leavitt. The single-disc special edition will be available to own from the 29th November this year, and should retail at around $19.94. I'm afraid we have no word on the disc specs for this one yet, but we'll bring you the full details shortly. Stay tuned for that. We've attached a look at the discs menus below:

This is a rerelease that actually makes sense. I believe the only version prior to this has both widescreen/fullscreen on it and no features.

Well, here's another movie that has been sitting on my "wish list" forever - guess this will be the time to actually buy!

Isn't the menu shown from the previous release? Hopefully this is more than just a repackaging. A new anamorphic transfer and Redford commentary is all I ask. (does he do them?)

Emily Lloyd pretty much disappeared after this.

It's a very charming movie, so if it's anamorphic and 5.1, I think I'll pick it up.

Anything more than great picture and sound on something like this, is just icing on the cake.

Sounds good, it'd be nice if they could get Craig Sheffer to participate in the commentary as well, I'm sure he can't be that busy.
