Question about "Too Close For Comfort" Season One.

Hi Everyone,

I recently purchased Too Close For Comfort -The complete first season. I watched the first four or five episodes on disc 1 today and noticed that the picture/frame would often jump or jitter. Nothing huge, it's just a split second jitter every now and then, worse on some episodes than others, but definately noticeable and distracting.

Before I exchange it, I just wanted to find out if my copy is defective, or if this is just the way the disc(s) is, in which case I'll keep it and save myself the hassle.

I ran the disc through some scans on my pc and no problems were detected, so I'm thinking this is just a problem with the source material or the mastering, etc. Can anyone else who has watched this let me know if they have noticed the same thing?

Thanks for any info,

Roy

Pretty positive I noticed that on maybe 2 or 3 of the episodes when I watched the
set a while back.

Thanks for the reply, you saved me the hassle of exchanging it.

It's strange though, I read reviews from most of the major review sites and none of them mentioned this, even though it's quite noticeable. Only after an extensive google search did I find a couple of obscure reviews that noted the problem. Maybe they all don't have this problem and a bad batch got out with this particular glitch, or something like that. In any case, It doesn't really matter - I'll probably sell this after I finish watching it, since I didn't realize when I bought it that the episodes are the syndicated (cut) versions.

Thanks Again,

Roy
