Demille Silent Films coming to dvd

Demille Silent Films coming to dvd
taken from Danny Burk and Gregory Mesh at the HTF.
Just an FYI post to let folks know that a couple of rare DeMille silents are coming on DVD in October: DON'T CHANGE YOUR HUSBAND and THE GOLDEN CHANCE. Amazon is now listing them as a double feature (mistitled "THE GOLDEN CHAN" for the second feature)
I discovered them by accident, and I haven't seen a peep about them in new listings anywhere. I'm sure that some of our classic film fans at HTF will be interested in them, and the good folks who are responsible for getting them onto DVD (such as David Shepard) can use our support by purchasing them!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
You'll be interested to know that Image website posted 2 more double features:
Why Change Your Wife? (1920) / Miss Lulu Bett (1921) is coming on November 29.
Old Wives for New (1918) / The Whispering Chorus (1918) is coming December 27.
Miss Lulu Bett was directed by Cecil's brother, William C. de Mille.

paraphrased from barrie maxwell
Then on the 25th, we'll get a double bill of two Cecil B. DeMille silent films (Don't Change Your Husband and The Golden Chance). Two further DeMille double bills are set for November 29th (Why Change Your Wife?/Miss Lulu Bett) and December 27th (Old Wives for New/The Whispering Chorus). These DeMille releases have been anticipated for some time now, so it's good to get confirmation.
