Opps! You're right! How did I make that mistake?

And yes, I saw it in the theater and then again when it was released on DVD. Watch it some time and you'll know why everyone dislikes it.

Can I pick The Decalogue, or is that considered a boxed set and thus not eligible under the one boxed set rule?

I would consider that a boxset.

They were originally broadcast on TV right? I'd say that falls under the TV set rule.

So does that mean that we can only have one boxed set (BTW a box set is a set of boxes...) INCLUDING a TV series?

Okay, then. I'll allow it.

(Next game, no boxsets will be allowed, period. They've turned this whole thing into a huge hassle)

I think that boxed sets should be allowed if they contain DVD material not available separately. The Toy Box would count because you can't get the bonus disc on its own (if I'm not mistaken, the movie discs are different too, but they wouldn't have to be to make the set eligible). However, something like the Scorsese box or any of those boxes with an actor like Tom Cruise or Adam Sandler would not count because you can get everything in the set by buying all of the discs separately.

Also, if someone picks a boxed set, that should not make the individually available titles unavailable, IMO. For example, if someone takes the Alien Quadrilogy, someone else could still take Alien.

I have seen it, and while I think the first two are better it's pretty good in my book. But hey, it's your opinion.

I think it would be more fun if everything was allowed. I feel like Wrong Men/Notorious Women and the Alfred Hitchcock Collection are like Mike Williams and Maurice Clarett.

Since the 1 hr rule was invoked, 8 round 2 picks should have taken place by now... so the following players are all on the clock:

Bobbin
jigga6286
Case01
illennium
Franchot

Who's voting for the best collection? The players, or the forum at large?
Are the eligible disks restricted to R1?

Sounds like my original pick of the the boxset "Warner Legends" can NOW be included, correct? (By the way the boxset includes the bonus disc "Here's Loonking At You" which is exclusive to the boxset and is not available separately.) So...

Warner Legends Collection

The 1hr rule is no longer in effect, right?

It's Groucho's call. I was just saying how I think it should work in future drafts, but Groucho makes the rules in this one.

Cool idea though, Groucho. Once all the peeps involved have made their choices, will there be a public poll to vote on who picked the best collection?

Come on people... I am anxious to make my next pick

Also, I am running a similar DVD draft over at my site. So if anyone wants in on that one (which will be a max of 16 teams), head on over to: http://www.upcomingdiscs.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=3683

This could be a good opportunity for those who wanted in to this one but missed out.
