Friends - Official Press Release Mentions Consumer Offers, Including a Way for Existing DVD Owners to Get 'All 10 Seasons' Box!

One of the most-anticipated TV-DVD sets we've ever had here is Friends - The Complete 10th Season. The year that wraps up one of the most popular sitcoms of all time is all set to arrive on November 15th, and consumers are enjoying the $29.94 discounted price at Amazon's pre-order listing (SRP is $44.99). Also available on the same date, for fans who haven't invested in any of the DVDs so far, is Friends - The One With All Ten Seasons, a "complete series" release that lists for $299.99, but which is available for Amazon pre-order at the nice price of just $209.99! It comes in a special Collector's Box that looks VERY nice:

Fans who have already been collecting the DVDs need not be upset over the special packaging, though! Warner Home Video is very nicely making it available for consumers to get via a mail-in offer, which will be promoted inside all new copies of Friends, including The Complete 10th Season. That offer is mentioned in the press release below, which Warner has very kindly sent over for us to share with our readers. There are also other consumer offers, including with the PlayStation 2 game Friends: The One With All The Trivia. Check out the better pic of the box that many readers have been suggesting we post, and then read the complete text of the press release for all the details.

Why is this a bad thing? If you pick up S10 there will be a mail-in certificate. I'd rather have it this way than to set up a website where people who don't own any the series can buy up boxes to eBay or whatever.
