Walt Disney's Lady And The Tramp Platinum Edition 02.28.06

It looks like the date snuck in under my nose for this one. It is popping up at the bottom of the cinderella page After doing some research on the Disney board, it seems this news has been out there for a bit. No word from Disney yet, but expect all of the Platinum perks. I'm sure specs will come, and a new trailer closer to release time of Cinderella. Just wanted to share the date, so you could mark your calenders.

Do you think we'll get the scope and academy ratio formats? Or am I thinking of another movie?

Gotta get a 2006 calendar & circle 3-07-06 on it. The Platinums are a must & this should be a great one.

Yes, hopefully both formats will be presented on the DVD. One per disc.

both formats would be welcome.

I just hope that everything is still intact. Disney puts out some great disc, but re-animation, muting lines, and adding new songs can make one crazy. I watched Lady & The Tramp last night, and enjoyed it thoroughly. It had been a few years since i had last seen it.

This is a wonderful film. I bought the first DVD release back around late 1999 or early 2000.

good idea Marty, I did the same with a few of my older limited issue releases, can't wait for this release and FINALLY the jungle book later on, my 2 favorite disney flicks of course have to be the last ones released.

Does anyone know when the Little Mermaid will be released?

Good cover. I'm not a big fan of sticking a lot of characters on a cover but it's a minor quibble.

I thought the meatballs were bigger.... heh.

It doesn't say "Platinum Edition" on it. Are they abandoning the name?
