FYI I sent an inquiry regarding the replacement discs for the Tom Baker set and was told that it's still in the works.

Alot of Doctor Who (blu-ray) on sale at Best Buy right now. Just picked up Series 6 & 7 (Matt Smith) for $14.99 ea. I think Series 1 through 7 are $14.99. Don't know about other Doctor Who but might be worth a look:

Picked up the 4K version of Twice Upon a Time last night expecting it be a dual format set but it’s only the 4K disc, no Bluray. We have an Xbox One in the bedroom but only a regular Bluray player in the living room where we watch most of our discs. I can drag the Xbox out to watch if needed but I was a little annoyed it didn’t have both.

It seems the episode# lists in the first post have fallen out of use. Does anyone know of any others? I use them to properly sort the DVD/Blus on FilmAficionado.

Sorry, it's the ones linked to external pages. I wasn't sure who was curating them.
Let me know if you need a hand with them.

Doctor Who - The Complete 11th Series (BBC) - 1/29/2019:
$59.99 SRP DVD; $64.99 SRP Blu-ray
The brand new series of Doctor Who marks the arrival of Jodie Whittaker, the 13th Doctor - a super-smart force of nature - alongside a new team of friends. Already highly anticipated, the new-look series heralds a brand-new era for Doctor Who with a world-class team at the helm led by showrunner Chris Chibnall. The show will be full of action and adventure, humor and thrills, an unmissable adventure across all of space and time.
NOTE: this title was previously available for pre-order, with no specific date announced. Now BBC Home Entertainment has scheduled the item for January 29th. There has been no word yet, however, about content: we're certain the main 10 episodes of the season will be included, but the BBC hasn't said yet about Christmas Specials or bonus materials.

Wonder how they’ll handle the Hartnell and Troughton seasons.

It seems like they're starting to regularly release animated recreations of the lost serials.
The Power of the Daleks was released on Nov 21, 2016.
Shada was released on Dec 4, 2017.
It seems like they're roughly doing one a year.

Re: The One & Only DOCTOR WHO DVD Thread (8th Incarnation)
I'd like an animation of the Hartnell serial Marco Polo. That's the only serial from the first season that is missing episodes and doesn't have a reconstruction available. But really I don't think they are going to bother with the first two doctors on blu-ray.

Re: The One & Only DOCTOR WHO DVD Thread (8th Incarnation)
I don’t know that animation would serve “Marco Polo” particularly well. It’s a seven part historical, and I think most of its appeal was the costuming and set design. That would be completely lost with animation, and better served by the old telesnap recons.

From TVShowsonDVD:
MOD reprints of the following:
* Doctor Who - Story #047: The Krotons (BBC Archive)
$19.99 SRP DVD MOD
* Doctor Who - Story #065: The Three Doctors: Special Edition (BBC Archive)
$24.99 SRP DVD MOD
* Doctor Who - Story #074: Planet of the Spiders (BBC Archive)
$24.99 SRP DVD MOD
* Doctor Who - Story #095: The Sun Makers (BBC Archive)
$19.99 SRP DVD MOD
If this is happening, maybe I've got a chance to pickup the three I need that are going for crazy prices (see sig)

Re: The One & Only DOCTOR WHO DVD Thread (8th Incarnation)
While I'm glad that they are rereleasing some of the OOP discs, I am disappointed that they are MOD. But at the same time it doesn't effect me since the only classic release I am lacking is the special edition of Vengeance on Varos (I have the original release though). But classic Who is a niche show anyway and it probably isn't profitable to rerelease pressed discs.
Great news about more animations, I just wish that they would release them closer to the UK release dates, and that we would also get blu-ray releases like the UK does.
