There is really no point to buy both. If I REALLY want to see it between now and the time the SE comes out, there is always rental. No reason at all to own a bare bones and an SE of this movie.

I'm waiting. I didn't see this at the movies since I dislike going out to see movies these days. I can't justify spending 16.00 or so for a release with so few extras. My neighbor across the hall is getting it so I'll borrow it from him and wait for the better release later on.

I am blind buying the theatrical cut because I hate going to theaters. Assuming I like that, I will buy the SE later and sell, trade in, or give away the theatrical cut.

I have to go with both. There has been no formal annoucement that an SE is even coming. It could be months or years before we ever see one. It would make sense that it would come out in time for Sin City 2, so no reason to hold off and not get the bare bones "we'll take more of your money later" edition that's out.

Buying this first one, will trade it in if a special enough version comes out. I don't care about extras at all, but i might be interested in extended or director's cut.

I'm buying the first one. I'll get the SE if and when it comes out, but I'm not holding my breath since there's been no official announcment. I predict that it's at least a year away (if it ever comes at all).

I am definitely buying the first one. If/when the 2nd comes out, I'll probably wait for awhile but I will get it.

I will Netflix the theatrical cut and wait for an SE to buy. This has become my standard practice with movies I know I want in my collection.
If the SE doesn't include the theatrical cut, and I decide I want it too, I'm sure I'll be able to buy it for less than $10 at that point.
I haven't seen the film yet, because I stay out of movie theaters.

I'll be buying both. For all we really know the SE might not be out for another year, or even later. It could be stuck in development hell like the Kill Bill SEs. I know Rodriguez has been talking about the SE coming out in time for X-Mas and whatnot, but it's really up to the studio whether they want to release a second edition or not.

Both for me. I want the Clive Owen cover now and there's no telling what the SE will look like. I enjoyed this movie so much that it's safe to say that it's one of my favorites and I don't mind the double dip.
