Paul
I was wondering the same exact thing. I was looking to add Ducktales to my wish list but could not find it. I sent them an email about it and I will write what they have to say about it.

Hmm. I dont remember this show looking so dirty and pixellated. Something tells me the transfer could have been better or I'm in a overly picky mood tonight.

I got it at target for the $24.99 posted above. Circuit City didn't have them and Best Buy was $31.99 each.

I bought DuckTales at Best Buy but had them match their online pick-up price of $24.99, which they were nice enough to do. My local Wal-Mart only had Chip and Dale.

Anyway, they really should've put the pilot on there, but I'm glad to finally have something from this show!

Ducktales at Target $24.99, Chip & Dale at WalMart (they didn't have Ducktales) for $24.88. I am disappointed that these do not have the pilot episodes, mainly because I can remember watching the original airing of the pilots on TV. Oh well... perhaps we can get a seperate release and maybe they will change that with Talespin... if and when... and I totally second the Gummy Bears nomination!!! That show rocked!

As long as the pilot gets released soon i won't mind that much. If they don't release it at all then i will be really mad.

I'm almost done watching the set and i still love this show. One thing that always stuck with me about Ducktales was the music. The orchestral themes are awesome. They use the same 5 or so themes alot but they are really well done.

Certainly not! I'd be the first to purchase a set with all 64 Gummi Bears Episodes. It is without a doubt my favorite Disney cartoon.

Gummi bears is my favorite right after Ducktales. I think my preference would be:

Ducktales
Gummi Bears
Tale Spin
Darkwing Duck
Rescue Rangers

Missed these originally as I was too old out working for a living but my little sister loved them. Picked up both sets before street date from my local Canadian Wal*Mart. Great deal for almost the price of a new movie release. My 3 and 5 year olds have been glued to the TV ever since. Recommended for kids and kids at heart.

Got both sets at Target! Wow do these bring back memories. I can't wait until the Ducktales movie comes to R1. I used to watch that 3 times a week as a kid. Great stuff!!!

The DuckTales movie (Treasure of the Lost Lamp) is being released as an exclusive through the Disney DVD Club, so most likely a regular release will happen within a year of that or so.

I agree. My only complaint is that since the first five episodes are missing there is no character introduction. It is like jumping into the middle of a movie. At least for Duck Tales. Chip N Dale will be a Christmas gift for my daughter, so I have watched those yet.
