I thought this might be a repost, but I couldn't find another thread mentioning the release (searching titles only).
I never saw the show, as it was a tad before my time. I know that I have heard this might be a good sign we will eventually see St. Elsewhere on DVD sooner than later.

WOO!!!!!!! This made my day! This was never one of my "favorite" shows, but it was an excellent show by any standard. I will be grabbing this for sure (unless, as the OP mentions, it happens to be syndication version, in which case I will not)
