I can't figure out what versions of DVDs are out...
I usually check with The Digital Bits before buying a movie. I usually go for the 2-disc extra bonus fluff version instead of the standard whatever that is being released for the movie.
So I checked The Digital Bits for what different versions that the anime Steamboy was being released in. I just saw the standard version. I went to Target and saw that it was the only version on the shelf and decided to go to Best Buy to actually buy it. I got to BB and then decided to get something completely different that caught my eye. The single-disc version was all that was on the shelf at BB aswell. Anyway, today I go back to Best Buy to finally pick up Steamboy. It wasn't in the new release section anymore so I head back to the anime section to get a copy. I get back there and I see a special boxed version for 44.95. Grrr. I didn't budget myself for that much so I got something else and decided to pick up the extended version next week. What is the best place to see what different flavors that a movie will be released in? Even that super rare version that might not normally be released everywhere? |
I'll either check DDD or Amazon.
Btw, Amazon has the boxset for $34.xx or if you need to buy in at a B&M, Wal*Mart has it for $37.xx |
