is the directors cut really worth a double dip, I cant decide?

I double-dipped and even though I like the flick, I couldn't detect where the new footage was. I did it simply because it was a 2-discer and the cover-art was better.

Well, if you want the deleted scenes from the first disc uncensored and inserted into the movie, then yes. I recently purchased it on walmart.com for like seven bucks because I never had the first release.
