By classic it is assumed we are speaking about films before the 1980's, with few exceptions.

Also, I am not including on this list companies that deal primarily in public domain releases.

Elite Entertainment's Drive-in Discs have double features as well as cartoons, intermission clips and the "Distort-o" option for sound, providing thin drive-in speaker quality, coming only from the left side and drive-in ambience sounds coming from the right.

OK, I know, not before the '80s. I was writing this before you posted just before me. But, I believe the Elite discs meet your criteria.

And what year are these titles from?:

* A Blade In The Dark/Macabre
* Elvira Mistress of the Dark/Transylvania 6-5000
* Fade to Black/Hell Night
* Hell of the Living Dead/Rats Night of Terror
* Initiation/Mountaintop Motel Massacre
* Pit, The/Hellgate
* Possession/Shock
* Return of the Killer Tomatoes/Return to Horror High
* Society/Spontaneous Combustion
* Fly, The/Return of the Fly
* Deranged/Motel Hell
* Attic/Crawlspace

These "few exceptions" are about half your list. :rolleyes: If you're going to make a rule (and, indeed, make it up as you go along, as evidenced by the edit to your original post), at least don't have giant chunks of your own list violate it. If the "Elvira Mistress of the Dark/Transylvania 6-5000" fits, there's no logical reason that "Teen Wolf/Teen Wolf Too" (or any other title from any other decade ever, for that matter) doesn't. A nice attempt at making a list, I guess, but it's not going to interest anyone if you just make up rules as you go along for what fits and what doesn't.

Yes, you're right, and the Elite disks are a good choice. But I'm changing the rules a bit right now to leave off companies that deal primarily in public domain titles. Its my desire to put together this list based on companies that keep the standard of the quality of theire disks fairly high. Let me know what you think about that.

You're absolutely right. I've removed the Anchor Bay "Drive-In" Disks.

Why not just have a list of all the double feature discs, regardless of year? That would ultimately be more helpful, I think.

I would suggest The Lower Depths but that wouldn't fit the genre apparently. So anybody reading this if you want to pick up the greatest Double Feature DVD not on the list above get The Lower Depths by Criterion.
