The Air Up There - w/ Kevin Bacon - Anybody know if this was ever released on dvd?
This is the basketball movie with Kevin Bacon. Was this ever released by Buena Vista on dvd, some dvd sites say it was released and now no longer in print. I know it's on region 2 and region 4, but was this ever officially released? I have my doubts about it.

I anwsered this same question last week. It was supposed to be released 11/11/2003 and it was canceled with no reason given. It was going to be a full frame, barebones release and it was priced very cheap. Here is a link to the DVD from DVDplanet: http://www.dvdplanet.com/product_li...3478&format=DVD and one from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/A...3365965-3035331 . i hope they release it soon but in its OAR and with some extras.

dx23, thanks for the info!
That is what I had figured all along. I still would have bought a Full Frame version, as long as the transfer was good, it's a movie I want to own in my collection really bad. I think this film, while being no Hoosiers, is quite a unique, wonderful, entertaining basketball film in it's own way.
I hope they get a head start on releasing this already!
There is always the region 2 and 4 versions
