I'll probabably get Man Who Fell to Earth. The others sound interesting. Might also pick up the Godard. I've only seen one other film of his (Breathless) but I loved it.

Excellent!! All 5 titles are solid and NAKED will make a lot of people happy. Godard is always a must!!!

5 titles? That's quite a bit. Sounds good, hopefully Criterion will put them up soon.

remind me, when is "Ran" supposed to come out

and is "Au revoir les enfants" happening or not happening?

I'm glad now I never got around to buying the Man Who Fell to Earth.

It is going to happen, in fact I think that A LOT more Louis Malle is going to surface on the market. Stay tuned.

This sounds like a very good batch of titles...I really look forward to seeing them, and to seeing the eventual features and likely excellent cover art Criterion will be posting within the next few days.

Wow! Really excited about Man Who Fell to Earth. Nice to look forward to. One of my all time favorite sci-fi's.

Katrin Cartlidge? I loved this actress, and her death was such a tragic gone-far-too-early sorta thing. It'll certainly be more than a little bittersweet hearing her discussing her work on this film. Does anyone know when this commentary was recorded (or at least her portion of it)?

The commentary is carried over from the LD, which came out in 1994.

This is all well and good, but I needs me some more Gilliam in my CC.
