I wish they could include the trailers for these damn things. I wonder how hard it would be to track them down? I have a Something Weird video that has them on it. Hopefully Image won't fuck up the transfers like they did with Vampyros Lesbos. And they should get someone else to do the cover art designs. These suck. I wish I could've sold my Criterions for a pretty penny once I heard these were coming out, but I'm still skeptical.

Only FRANKENSTEIN was shot in 3-D; the DVD will be flat only. Rather silly since good quality field sequential 3-D versions are easily found. You'd think they'd want to stop all the bootlegging.

The Dracula is closer to a draw between the two. The Image disc seems to have more specs/dirt at times but it also has better detail plus its anamorphic.
Believe me, I am totally freakin happy that I sold my Criterions for a combined $120 on ebay (don't look at me, I started the auctions at $1 each). So I got these Image dvds for free with $90 to spare.

Based on the very favorable reactions to the new releases, I guess I'll sell my Criterions (and hopefully make some completist happy) and grab these new editions.
