Video Glitch on Entourage DVD set?
 

Mabye someone can answer this for me.

So I am watching the pilot episode of HBO's Entourage on DVD. Near the end of the episode there is a scene where Vincent and Eric are in the kitchen. Eric tells Vincent that he should call his agent and fire him.

Now then, there is a shot going from Vincent to Eric that has a pixelation problem. I've only played the disc on my Playstation 2, but I will try my other DVD players.

Note: that was the only time that issue occured. The rest of the episodes on disc 1 play fine.

I just wonder if anything similar has happened to anyone who has the show?

Yep. I have watched the Pilot 2 times and both times it skips about 30 or so seconds during that scene. I have an Onkyo 6-disc player, which hasn't skipped on any other dvd I own.

I just got Entourage S1 and it is skippin like crazy. The whole Kimmel episode has points where the screen goes black for a few seconds before skipping ahead. It's most prevalent in the backstage shots.

Unless I'm searching wrong, this doesn't seem to be a widespread issue, but has anyone had this problem?

Only problem i had was the episode mentioned by the OP, it locked up on my HD player, but played fine on my PC.

I've only encountered a skip in the place the op described. For those interested,
the HBO sampler discs that Best Buy and the like have as freebies (or a penny) have
the pilot episode and it does not skip (at least the few I've seen).
