A Pup Named Scooby Doo on DVD July 19th???

This came from a website called The Big Cartoon Database, I've never heard of it and I've also never heard about this show coming out from any "reliable" sites, but I'll post what they have...

Warner Home Video is gearing up to treat the youngest Scooby-Doo fans with a tasty Scooby snack: two new upcoming animated DVD releases entitled A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, Volume 1 and Volume 2.

Geared toward pre-schoolers, both DVD titles follow the young adventures of everyone's favorite pooch, Scooby-Doo, along with pint-sized versions of Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred as they solve mysteries and, of course, have plenty of fun.
WHV has designated a July 19 street date for both new titles, which will retail for $14.98 SRP each.

A Pup Named Scooby-Doo Volume 1 and Volume 2 bring Scooby-Doo to pre-schoolers by introducing the Mystery Inc. gang as kids and their lovable canine companion as a pup. The series originally aired on ABC and is currently airing on Cartoon Network/Boomerang. This is the first time that the series is available on DVD.

"WHV is proud to continue to bring consumers new and exciting volumes of the Scooby-Doo franchise. Now, small children can enjoy the hijinks of Scooby-Doo with this series that has been specially created for a young age group. We think A Pup Named Scooby-Doo Volumes 1 and 2 are entertaining titles and must-haves for the family's home entertainment collection," said Christine Martinez, WHV's vice-president for non-theatrical franchise marketing.

A Pup Named Scooby-Doo Volume 1 has four Scooby-Doo adventures: A Bicycle Built for Boo, The Sludge Monster from the Earth's Core, Wanted Cheddar Alive and The Schnook Who Took My Comic Book.

In "A Bicycle Built for Boo," Shaggy's bike goes missing. Where it finally ends up is a big surprise for everyone. In "The Sludge Monster from Earth's Core," someone has hidden inside Scooby-Doo's doghouse and it's up to the pint-sized gang to come to their canine friend's rescue.

"Wanted Cheddar Alive" has Scooby-Doo running out of his beloved Scooby Snacks on the same day the Scooby Snacks factory shuts down and it's up to Velma, Shaggy, Fred and Daphne to figure out exactly what happened. "The Schnook Who Took My Comic Book" follows Shaggy, who wants nothing more than an issue of Commander Cool, a comic book with only three copies in existence. However, it's not only Shaggy who is after a copy. Can the gang help their buddy make his dream come true?

A Pup Named Scooby-Doo Volume 2 features For Letter or Worse, The Babysitter From Beyond, Snow Place Like Home and Now Museum, Now You Don't.

In "For Letter or Worse," the gang encounter the ghost of Cal CaBone while attending the taping of a TV show. In "The Babysitter from Beyond," Shaggy faces a big dilemma. He wants to go to the movies, but when he realizes this means leaving his baby sister with a spooky babysitter, he thinks twice. What should he do? Go to the movie or guard his sister from the babysitter from beyond?

In "Snow Place Like Home," the gang realizes that they just can't go skiing without getting themselves into all sorts of crazy escapades. In "Now Museum, Now You Don't," the gang sets out to retrieve a collection of priceless swords which are stolen from a museum before Shaggy and Scooby-Doo wind up in jail.

If this is true, which I'm not sure if it is or not, it will be great! I loved this show as a child, and when Cartoon Network played the episodes just a year or two ago, I never missed it!
