Guys, you aren't going to get anything by waiting or by calling the company that's handling the replacement discs. As I said earlier in this thread if it's the same company that Lion's Gate hired to replace the defective disc in Dead Zone season 2, you will never hear anything back from them.
I finally called Lion's Gate directly in regards to my season 2 problem, and told them that the company they hired was completely incompetent, and I was demanding a replacement. The woman I talked to was very helpful, and she tried calling the company to see if she could find out what was going wrong. She was amazed when she got the same automated runaround that I did, and passed my number on to her supervisor, who contacted me the next day, and had a replacement disc in my hands about 10 days later. |
i called in my bad S2 disc 3 and S3 set about a month ago. got my replacement S2 disc 3 in about 10 days, still nothing on the S3 discs yet.

Received the following email last Thursday (Sept. 8)

I received the Replacement email today. Hopefully I will finally have watchable replacements in a week or so.

I don't believe it - but the replacement discs arrived in the mail today! I had all but given up on Lions Gate, but the 3 DVDs were sent in a padded envelope. Each DVD was in a paper sleeve. I still think their customer service was kind of crappy, but several months later, I must admit that they did send the replacements free of charge. I checked the discs - no white line. I can finally watch season 3 of this show. :)

I now have absolutely, 100% no confidence in Lions Gate. I will steer clear of their products until after they've been on the shelves for a while and I've read nothing but stellar reviews. :chainsaw: :hairpull: :brickwl2: |

I'm now in possession of a disc 3 from Hell!!! I guess it's time to replace a replacement.

My disc three is no good too. I can't believe they made the same mistake with the discs. That's just silly. What the hell are we supposed to do now? Are they going to replace this too?

i got my S3 replacements yesterday, and was about to put them away (for good), but now that i've read this, i'll have to check them. so much for hoping this would finally be resolved.

I've been informed that LGF is aware of the situation and we should know something about how to handle replacing disc 3 soon.

I got my replacements... and I didn't even order any! I've been fighting with them for a replacement disc from the season 2 set. A couple days ago I got an envelope in the mail from Lion's Gate, and I thought it was another season 2 disc 3 replacement, since I called so many times about it. I just opened it, and it's all 3 discs to season 3.
I haven't even opened my season 3 yet. Hell, I haven't opened season 1 either. The only reason I opened season 2 was to check disc 3 after I heard about the problems. I'll have to open up season 3 and check the discs and check the replacements. |
Well I got an email this morning saying that they were sending me a Season 2 Disk 2, when I called about Season 3. I emailed them back, I will wait to see what happens.:horse:

Thanks for the e-mail address. I emailed Carmin last night around 12:00 am and got a shipping confirmation from her today at 8:30 am. Talk about a quick turnaround! |
Has the replacement for the replacement of disk 3 been worked out yet? I'm waiting (hopefully it won't be too late though) to make sure all the issues like this are worked out before contacting them ;)

I got mine on Friday. Thank goodness. Boy they were stupid to send out another bad disc, but at least we didn't have to wait months on end for them to fix this one.

I finally got around to watching my Dead Zone Season 3 set and it has the problem with the white line on my standalone player and on my PC. :(
I sent an email to the address posted earlier in this topic and I just received a confirmation that the replacement discs are on the way. :) |
