Warner has announced a two-disc special edition of New Jack City which stars Wesley Snipes, Ice-T, Chris Rock and Mario Van Peebles. The set will be available to own from the 23rd August, for around $26.99. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen transfer along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 track. Extras will include a commentary by director/co-star Mario Van Peebles, a NJC: A Hip-Hop Classic documentary in which artists, radio personalities and other hip-hop icons show their respect for the movie, a Road to New Jack City making of documentary, and a Harlem World: A Walk Inside documentary in which Mario Van Peebles checks out the sights and sounds of the Black Capital of America. Completing the package will be three music videos (New Jack Hustler (Nino’s Theme) by Ice-T, I’m Dreamin’ by Christopher Williams and I Wanna Sex You Up by Color me Badd), and the films trailer.

I recorded this movie back in the day off of HBO, and I never got up the gumption to watch it.
Caught a little bit of it on some movie channel recently and thought it looked cheesey.
