i ordered this from ddd but they have it shipping in 7/26/2005, i thought this was released in 5/17/2005, i called them up and they said it will not be released until 7/26/2005

And therein lies your problem. Consider yourself fortunate that your order still exists as mine was cancelled. I logged in after reading your post and found that my order, for GitS:SAC 6 and 7 LEs, is gone, both items cancelled. No email. No reason. Just cancelled.

To answer your question, it was indeed released on 5/17, so my advice would be to order it elsewhere and avoid DDD like the plague. A couple extra dollars here and there are worth avoiding the needless aggravation I've experienced on my last 5 or 6 orders with them.

That's right, I forgot this was a misprice. I was just mad that it was cancelled. Well, the real funny part is they still have the incorrect price for Vol 6 LE.

I tried that, but it's not there. It says CANCELLED right next to both items in my order history. I emailed DDD and they said it was cancelled because they couldn't authorize my card, which I assume is pure BS.

Apparently, some folks over at AOD forum got a reply from DDD that their Vol. 6 SE will be shipping soon. I you add it to the cart now, it is showing up as in-stock.
