My Criterion, NO SPINE #?

Why does my Traffic Criterion Collection DVD have no SPINE NUMBER?

on criterionco.com the number is: 151

I have no number however!

Let me know, PLEASE.

I seem to remember hearing that a few Criterions had slightly different versions released in Canada. One of the differences being the lack of a spine number.

You definitely have the Canadian release.

You'll also notice the Alliance logo on the front cover.

On the plus side - the discs content are identical.

I see!
Mistery solved.

Any decrease in value due to NO SPINE #?

Thanks.

it would be harder to resale since that automatically keeps spine number collectors away....but you should still be available to unload it

I believe that if you contact the Criterion company, they'll exchange or send you the US cover. Contact them at www.criterionco.com .

Thanks a lot!

I'll definitely do that.

They may have changed their policy, but originally they were only doing that for addresses in Canada. So if you were someone in the US who purchased the Canadian version, you were shit outta luck.

Well, it seems ziondog is from Canada, so he should have no problem.
