I'm fairly certain it's a single-layer disc.

Yeah, I thought that particular theme would be a no brainer for inclusion on this DVD. Oh well. I can't gripe too much since they could have just packaged the soundtrack CD by itself and sold it for the same price.

Anywhere. It's a music CD with a DVD as a second disc. Don's search for DVDs, search for music.

It is a single layer DVD. At only 70 minutes, a dual-layered DVD would not do anything to it to improve the video/audio quality, since it would have to still use the first 70 minutes or so before it would move to a 2nd layer.

Question: for those of us who are trying our best to avoid Episode 3 spoilers, would watching the Episode 3 segment of this dvd contain any spoilers? Or does it consist entirely of stuff already shown on the tv trailers? I'm debating if I should buy this now or wait until after I've seen the film.

Almost all the clips for Episode 3 are seen on various trailers.

scott1598, try searching by title, or if you have a DVD-ROM insert the disc and it'll pick up by disc ID (thats how I added it manually to my profiler).

I usually don't buy soundtrack CD but I picked this one up specifically for the Musical Journey DVD. $11.99 for this bonus DVD is worth it

Anybody think this will be on the ROTS DVD? I'd rather just wait for that to have this. I don't know, I've just no need for a soundtrack that is a score rather than a collection of songs (a la Garden State) and I'm too cheap to shell out $12 for something I might end up owning later on anyway.... well, sorta.

From what I have been able to determine from a casual listening, the 5.1 surround track is not very expansive. As near as I can tell, the music is simply mixed in stereo, while the occasional dialog is heard through the center channel. The rears are rarely (possibly never?) used.

$11.99 at Best Buy.

I just went through it. It is a good DVD with some nice music from the SW saga. Lots of EP 1-6 footage. EP3 footage is mostly trailer footage.

Have really enjoyed this disc. The images with the music really tell the story.

Could have done without the dailogue inclusions.

No it doesn't, there wasn't a entry for the disc yet (I ended up submitting one).

Here's the Disc ID: EB65-C31C

Well, I hadn't planned on buying it, but with all the great comments on the bonus disc, I caved in. I haven't had a chance to put it in yet, but I'm sure it'll be great.
