Is there any news about the TV series Cop Rock being released?

Just when I've finally erased any last bit of memory I had of this show's existence, you had to remind me of it. :p

No news as far as I know... but if you have TRIO they're running episodes of the show as part of their Brilliant But Cancelled series.

How's this for a "bump"? I just got an e-mail from Shout! Factory and they're releasing "Cop Rock, The Complete Series" later this year. Never thought I'd see that. I actually have all ten episodes on VHS in the back of a closet somewhere; I got them off A&E at 2am one week.

That's pretty surprising. I don't think I ever saw the show but I'd probably buy this set just because.
