Will we ever see The Tick (animated)?
 

I did a search of past threads and I didn't see anything recent about this. Just wondering if anyone knows why the cartoon has never been released; I would think there's a pretty big market for it.

This thread gets started every six months...sadly every six months it dies a cruel death for lack of info. No news...and thats bad news

Maybe if we find out who owns the rights, we can all go stand in front of their offices and chant "SPOOOOON!!!!"

Correct. It was originally produced by Saban for Fox but was acquired by Disney when they severely overpaid for the entire FOX Family Channel and library.

Michael Eisner had some grand vision for the new ABC Family Channel and library but it never materialized. Few people there know what to do with the library that they acquired. We've seen some Power Rangers DVD releases and that Spiderman '67 set but I wouldn't hold your breath for "The Tick" anytime soon.
