There are quite a few. A lot of them just have cruddy versions so I keep pushing them off in favor of other DVDs I like that have much better editions. I finally picked up Shawshank Redemption, but I have yet to pick up:

The Godfather Collection
Videodrome
The Truman Show
Short Cuts
Halloween
A Nightmare on Elm Street
Back to the Future

A few Kurosawa, Kubrick and Gilliam movies I've been needing, also. There are a bunch more I'm sure I'm forgetting. Heh.

Sideways and Passion of the Christ. I haven't seen either movie but want to pick up the DVD eventually.

Is that the one where Jesus turns water into wine then screams "I AM NOT DRINKING ANY FUCKING MERLOT!"?

I waiting for a better quality version boxset of the LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY...Those two boxsets - the theatrical boxset and the Extended version Boxset - both are weak and poor quality.

Only $80 here: http://www.dvdplanet.com/product_lis...693&format=DVD

Not bad for 5 films, a documentary and more.

The Krays and Phase IV (the one about ants).

But, to be fair, I was able to pick up some SCinemax favorites. Oh, the humanity.

I don't know if you're a dumbass, but you're not the only one waiting on Kill Bill. Seriously though, the current DVDs are pretty cheap, but I heard the picture quality sucks, there are no extras, and having seen the Japanese full color version of Vol. 1, I can't justify getting the B&W cut.

The Graduate is a movie I'm desperate to own on DVD, but MGM refuses to reissue this with a new anamorphic transfer. I don't even need any extras(I have the Criterion LD which includes a terrific audio essay), but it's deserving of at least 16x9 video.

I'm surprised that I haven't picked up Batman Begins yet! (I don't get off work 'til 4:30, though.)

I also, for the life of me, don't know why I haven't bought BladeRunner. Now I'm paranoid that the super deluxe das boot cut will be released right after I buy it.

It's funny, andicus, Pink Floyd the Wall was my very first purchase. Before I got my player. It's got a really interesting doc in the extras, worth watching many times. I highly recommend you move it to the top of your queue.

Yeah, I've watched it on my crummy old VHS copy somewhere between 50 and 100 times. I used to put it on just for background. Definitely have to pick it up. Live at Pompeii is another must have for me that I also haven't got yet.

Is the doc in the old or new release, or both? Actually, I just checked Amazon, and it looks like it's in both. Although, the new release doesn't list the commentary in the features. Do you know if it is available in the newer release?
