Any mention of re-releases of these...

Anyone heard of any re-releases of “The Boondock Saints”, “Oh Brother, Where Art Thou” or “Conspiracy Theory”?

They might not be everyones favorites but I personally enjoy them and would like to see a Collector’s/Special Edition of each but if nothing else atleast a remastered picture and DTS.

welcome to the forum.

no news on those three yet. Boondock saints could get a SE similar to Donnie Darko...it has a cult following at this point, Oh Brother is another that is on a long list of the Brothers films that need SE...Big lebowski is going to be announced very soon...Raising Arizona should be in line before this one....

Conspiracy Theory is off the radar...WB seems to be focusing more on re-releasing classic titles dating pre 1960 these days. Who knows what the future holds at this point.

I figured as much with Conspiracy Theory as it wasn't a huge hit and I'm sure not in huge demand.

As for the Coen's films, I do hope to see more of them on some sort of Special release DVD. I'll definitely be in for Lebowski, O Brother, Miller's Crossing, Barton Fink, etc. Now for The Boondock Saints, man I can only hope, as this is a favorite of mine.

Thanks for the welcome and reply...

Of course, the current version of O Brother has an excellent DTS track already.

I was pretty happy with the release that O Brother got... had a nice piece on the color tones throughout the movie, and had a music video of "Constant Sorrow".

That color tone featurette on the O Brother DVD is one of the few extras (on any of my DVDs) that I've watched multiple times. For some reason I can't help but watch it after every viewing of the movie. The DTS is great as well.
