Airwolf Season 1 05.24.05

I know you guys want to hear this...

From Dvd Answers

Title: Airwolf
Starring: Jan-Michael Vincent
Released: 24th May 2005
SRP: $39.98

Further Details
Universal has released early details on the first season of Airwolf which stars Jan-Michael Vincent and Ernest Borgnine. Details are still a little sketchy for this one at the moment, but we can tell you that the two-disc set will be available to own from the 24th May this year. The retail price will be set at around $39.98. Each of the episodes will be presented in 1.33:1 full frame along with English Mono tracks. English, French and Spanish subtitles will also be provided. I'm afraid Universal hasn't yet revealed details on extra material, but we'll bring you news on that shortly, along with the official package artwork

Nice!

I'd like to own every season but the last. It turned to shit after the USA Network took it over....oddly enough the same thing happened to "Renegade".

I think either The Dukes of Hazzard or The Love Boat was mine.

Oh my God. I haven't thought about this show in years... seemed like in Elementary you were either an Airwolf guy or a Knight Rider guy...

It was as serious as Beatles/Elvis.

One of the few shows I kinda enjoyed that my dad watched. I've been thinking of that DVD club that offers TV shows (Columbia House?) for this, but now that it's out in stores, I'll wait for that.

TVShowsOnDVD is speculating this to be the case:

List price for Airwolf is $39.98 for a 2-DVD set running just a few minutes under 10 hours. That sounds like enough time to include the "Shadow of the Hawke" pilot telefilm in addition to the 10 regular episodes of the short first season, but Universal hasn't verified the exact contents just yet.

I may have to give in and at least rent this. The pilot episode was very well done for its time, IIRC.

I'm in.

I can still hum the theme song. One of the few shows from my childhood that I can...along with the A-team and Knight Rider (sort of).
