Question for Guzzlefish users

Is there a way to make your own categories? I wanted to make one for titles I have for trade. As I see it there is only a Own and wish list.

Go to the drop down menu under My DVDs. Select "Folder Hierarchy" and you can create your own folders.

You can then move the movie to whichever folder it should go into.

I may be wrong but I think you are refering to DVD aficionado (sp?). I haven't seen any drop downs in Guzzlefish.

Oh crap.. you're right  I had clicked on your links and they were only DVDaf and didn't noticed you were asking about gf

It was early.... D'oh !!

I don't know of anyone who still uses Guzzlefish...

Man, it's been many moons since I ventured over there. I used to like GF a whole lot, mainly because it also cataloged CDs. But once the updates stopped I switced to DVDSpot. Doubt that I'll go back since I've bought so many DVDs and CDs since I quit using it - I don't remember where I left off. Is its database up to date now?

Hmm I was unaware that it got out of date. I like some of the options it has. I'll definitely stop using it once it stops serving its purpose.

I use Guzzlefish. They recently updated their database, and I have about five times as many CDs as DVDs, so it's nice to be able to track both at the same site. Plus, I didn't appreciate DVD Aficionado's bullshit political messages so I quit that site.

I started with GF, but switched to DVD Profiler. No chance of ever going back either after the way GF basically abandoned their site for about a year.

Personally, I gave up on GF a while back. Just too dang many titles not in their database, site too dang slow -- even with high speed connection, etc., etc. I liked some of their features, but they shot themselves in the foot when they let the database get so outdated. I used to use GF AND DVD Profiler, now I only use DVD Profiler. Good enough for me!

I quit using Guzzlefish when they stopped updating their database. Unfortunately it would be easier to delete my list and start over, instead of trying to figure what titles I purchased and got rid of since I quit using it. Really something I don't want to do since maintaining lists at three other sites.
