PEOPLE!...do you really think they had velcro in 1942? i think Disney is just keeping with the old time motif!

Velcro - Walmart. They had both, but far more goo than velcro.

Maybe there's a shortage because the hurricanes last fall devastated the velcro crops in Florida, just like tomatoes?

I have a semi-related question: My copy of Elf has the goo holding down the slip-cover, and I was wondering if this title was even available with velco? When I originally bought it I never thought that there might be a goo version and a velcro version.

I bought my copy at Wal*Mart yesterday and they had both in the display. The first one I picked up had goo, but the next one had velcro. I got a few strange looks as I bounced down the aisle, yelling, "YES! VELCRO!!!"

Booger here, bought at CC, but for $8.59 + tax I can't complain.

I was probably getting equally strange looks as I'd grab handfuls at a time from the Wal-Mart display right there by the front door, checking for a slipcover without dents or creases. Then I noticed the booger/velcro dilema and had to start all over again.
