a thread in the movie forum says that bob and harvey are releasing 22 movies to theater before they leave miramax this year....makes sense they would flood the dvd market with all the stuff on shelf...get those last few bucks out of the mouse

Is the first Prophecy movie getting a re-release on DVD?

I have all the current Hellraisers but only Prophecy 1 and 3. Looking for 2 used. Both are great series but not to everyones taste. But if you are a sci-fi addict like myself, great fun. I wish Night Breed would get done this way. I have all the graphic novels and they would make great movies.

Hopefully DRACULA III will show up as well....it's been done forever.

We've just received final details for The Prophecy: Uprising from Dimension Home Video. This straight-to-disc entry, due on June 7th, arrives with a 1.85:1 anamorphic transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1. Extras will include an audio commentary track, a deleted scene and an extended ending, a making-of featurette, cast audition tapes and a still gallery slideshow. Not to shabby. Retail will be $29.99. Look for the follow-up The Prophecy: Forsaken to arrive onto disc September 6th.

As awful as these sequels (almost) always are, I always look forward to giving 'em a rent. I love the schlock.

Now where is that Wicked Prayer art?

I'm assuming the Prophecys will not incluide Christopher Walkin. Boo.
