Controversy also erupted during the promotion of the film when readers of the Los Angeles Times complained about the movie poster advertisement, not because of what the readers could see but because it was suggested that the illustrated Scott Baio and Willie Aames could see up the skirt of the illustrated girl character. The poster artist re-drew the advertisement to block the suggested view.

Does it have the insert with the original cover art, so I can "slip" it out and insert it on the front?

If not, where can I print out the original artwork?

BuddyRevell 02-13-08 11:27 PM

Flicker 02-21-08 08:51 AM

I swear the cover on the original VHS release was different?

Buttmunker 02-21-08 08:53 AM

how about some Charles and Buddy pics (I don't care what their names are in this film - they're really just Charles and Buddy)

islandclaws 02-21-08 12:24 PM

FYI for anyone in the LA area this Sat. Eli Roth's film fest is showing Zapped! and Baio will be there.

I still maintain that Locklear is the finer of the two 80s Heathers.

OldBoy 02-22-08 12:07 PM

i just watched this last night and was really surprised how well it held up. i prolly haven't seen this since the late 80's and i enjoyed it just as much. it is funny how when you watch something now after viewing so many times before how much you remember. i swear i could have watched this the day before because every scene was so clear and rememberable :)

really liked every bit of the cheese and the stiffness of Baio's performance. and the songs even evoked feeling and emotion.

great, great experience, but alas no extras to further the viewing pleasure. oh well.

"Got to believe in magic" is the equivalent of "Glory of Love" in Karate Kid part deux!

Great song!

And the one with the most longevity. Whatever happened to Heather Thomas?

Great song!

that and the song at the prom, when Barney and Bernadette dance, i love

OldBoy 02-22-08 05:03 PM

also, if you watch the credits and also listed on IMDb is an actor credit for: Carlos Lacamara ... Older Barney
did i miss a dream sequence or something with an older Barney or was this a deleted scene? boy, i would hate to think there is more of this wonderful material out there...

In 1984, she entered rehab to beat a cocaine addiction.
